The family Inn U Váhy is one of the jewels among traditional Prague inns.
The ambience in our inn remains the same as it was during the glory days of the first Czechoslovak Republic.
The price includes the entrance fee for the program, a 5-course menu with a selection of traditional Czech dishes which takes you on a unique trip through the history of the local cuisine within the time frame of 300 years, unlimited consumption of beer, wine, soft drinks.
It is a great opportunity to entertain your friends, colleagues or business partners from abroad.

Main description:

The program takes you back 311 years to 1713, the reign of Emperor and King Charles Habsburg the VIth. We will guide you through the period of Queen Maria Theresa, Emperor and King Franz Joseph the Ist, the last Czech king Charles the Ist and we will end our journey in the period of First Republic with T.G. Masaryk in 1938.
You will taste great food from each period and learn from our guide how our inn worked and how the whole city of Prague lived in those times.
During the program, you will taste several types of beer from the Prague brewery, which used to be the largest in Europe.
You will try to recognise forgotten Czech liqueurs such as Kontušovka (anise liqueur), Čert (mixture of sour cherry liqueur and local dark rum), Jeřabinka (rowan berry liqueur), Ořechovka (walnut liqueur), Višňovka (sour cherry liqueur), Vanilková (vanilla liqueur).
Part of the program is the rental of historical costumes (it’s included in the price of your ticket), thanks to which you can experience the style and elegance of the 20s-30s of the 20th century on your own.
In costumes and the stylish interiors of our inn, your holiday photos will impress everyone.
Our Polaroid camera will be at your disposal.
In addition to good food, you will also enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and the pleasant company of our friendly guide with whom you can chat over delicious food.
